Six young people from New York City on their own and struggling to survive in the real world find the companionship, comfort, and laughter they need in each other. The group of friends includes Monica, a chef; Chandler, an advertising executive; Phoebe, a musician; Joey, an actor; Rachel, a fashion designer; and Ross, a paleontologist. They all live in the same apartment building and spend their days hanging out at the local coffee shop, Central Perk. Despite their different personalities and backgrounds, the six friends are there for each other through thick and thin. They support each other's dreams, help each other through tough times and always make each other laugh.
